About Me
I started teaching out of a desire to pay my own university tuition fees, and through that I discovered that I love helping people! I’m a perfectionist by nature, and I pride myself on supporting my students in any way I can - resources, consultations, repeating explanations as many times as I need, I’ve even had an online consult at 4am before (I had to try really hard to concentrate because I was so tired 😂).
I strongly believe that any student is capable of getting an A for physics and I take it upon myself to make the journey there efficient and (hopefully) enjoyable.

This is Ben.
Ben struggles to understand his lessons. When the teacher explains something complicated, he wants to ask questions but is afraid of distracting the class. As the school year progresses, Ben gets more lost and begins to see his grades fall.
We've all experienced what Ben is going through at some point—when it feels like everything’s working against you, and no effort seems to make a difference.
“How can I improve my grades?” Ben wonders.
Then, an idea strikes him.
“Let’s give this a go.”
Ben steps into the air-conditioned classroom, where he finds 20 other students already present.
As the lesson goes on, Ben's confusion grows. He had been meaning to ask the teacher about phase difference, diffraction, Rayleigh’s criterion, and …
“Ugh. I’m just as lost as I was when Mr. Ling covered these topics in class! What’s the point of tuition? It feels like school all over again!”
OUR IDEOLOGY
6 Tuition was created to help students like Ben, students who have trouble learning in large classrooms. With our small class sizes—capped at 6 students—we provide a more informal and focused learning environment. This ensures students get the individualized attention they need, while also promoting active communication between students and tutors, which is vital for effective learning.
